Drawing up an emissions report
In an emissions report, companies provide data on the volumes of greenhouse gases emitted, and how these volumes were calculated. The deadline for submitting a verified emissions report to the NEa is 31 March.
Compulsory format
It is mandatory for companies to use the emissions report format drawn up by the NEa. This format is published annually on the NEa website, several months prior to year-end closing.
Simplified format for less complex organisations
A simplified format is available for less complex installations, suitable for those without a continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS), fallback methods, N2O or perfluorocarbon (PFC) emissions, or transferred or inherent CO2.
Standard calculation factor values
Some installations may use standard values for calculation factors when calculating their emissions, such as emission factors and calorific values. Read more about the various standard values in the background document.
